What is Language ED Visa?

A Language ED Visa (Student Visa) in Thailand is designed for international students who wish to study in the country while staying legally for an extended period. Students can extend their ED visa from 3 months up to 1 year, depending on the course and program requirements. To apply for a Thailand student visa, applicants must first obtain an official approval letter from the Ministry of Education (MOE), which typically takes around 20 days. After approval, the visa stamping process usually takes an additional 15 days. Overall, the ED visa application process in Thailand takes approximately 45 ~ 60 days to complete.
